Technology
In the field of technology, the entire product lifecycle management takes place from the initial prototype development through to the complete product design, comprehensive product examinations and tests such as fire trials, the technical documentation all the way to the phasing out of products at the end of the life cycle. Participation in research projects, thermal and flow simulations, commitment in various industry associations as well as standardisation and guideline work are important topics. The resulting product portfolio is the basis for TROX's business success and ranges from energy-efficient indoor air components to sustainable HVAC devices and building automation systems.
IT
The IT area plays a pivotal role at TROX, with approximately 3,000 IT users worldwide and an international business and IT strategy that promotes forward-thinking projects. Our digitalisation agenda consists of three subject areas and nine initiatives aimed at developing IT from a cost factor to a competitive factor. We consistently reinforce our team and offer training at the highest level with steep learning curves. An intriguing technology stack and effective project management are part of our strategy. Our working environment, both onsite and virtually, is designed to be open and comfortable, to assist the transition from survival mode to game changer.
Sales
The sales area of TROX GmbH is responsible for all sales disciplines, from customer acquisition, support and retention, to offer preparation, order creation and conducting sales negotiations. The sales team operates nationwide across six branches in Germany. Our sales staff analyse market trends and competitive activities in order to optimally adapt sales strategies. They participate in trade fairs, such as ISH and industry events, to represent TROX and acquire new customers.
Service (TROX HGI)
TROX HGI is an affiliated company of TROX GmbH and has been representing innovative system solutions since 1995. As a system integrator for building automation, TROX HGI also supports its customers in the commissioning, maintenance or repair of the TROX climate systems with the aim of ensuring optimal indoor air quality.
Production
At our German production locations in Neukirchen-Vluyn and Anholt, there are approximately 900 employees who significantly contribute to the company's success by enabling the actual manufacturing of our products, thus contributing directly to revenue generation. Matters such as production planning and control, resource management or capacity planning also play a significant role here.
Purchasing
The purchasing area at TROX is divided into Project, Commodity and Indirect Purchasing. The division into Project and Commodity purchasing ensures that the tasks of purchasing are clearly structured and demarcated, in order to be processed efficiently and on-demand. Project purchasing is responsible for handling all purchasing-related issues in projects, whilst Commodity purchasing is responsible for creating an optimal supplier base in terms of costs, quality, etc. The task of Indirect Purchasing involves indirect materials such as operational resources.
Sustainability is also a significant issue within purchasing.
Finances
The Finance area encompasses a myriad of tasks and responsibilities. These include, among others, financial planning and analysis, accounting and bookkeeping, cost control as well as cost management, taxation, risk management, reporting, and internal controls.
As such, this area is essential for the sustained development and success of TROX.
Construction
The construction area deals with various responsibilities, ranging from planning and coordination to implementation and monitoring of construction projects. In addition, the sector also takes care of the maintenance of our buildings. Our fleet management is also managed by the construction industry.
Thus, the construction area plays a crucial role in the successful execution of exhibitions or construction projects and significantly contributes to the value creation and long-term success of TROX!
International Business / Digital Marketing Sales
The IB area at TROX is concerned with the planning, implementation and monitoring of business activities across national borders. This includes, among other things, market analysis and market entry strategies, business development and expansion, or trading and sales strategies.
Overall, the area aims to maximise the global business opportunities of TROX, while simultaneously managing the challenges and risks of international business.
Corporate Social Responsibility
The field of Corporate Social Responsibility deals with subjects such as sustainability, social responsibility, ethical conduct, stakeholder engagement, as well as reporting and transparency. The goal of this field is to ensure long-term business successes at TROX and to make a positive contribution to society.
Human Resources / Law
The Human Resources/Law area at TROX manages all aspects relating to the employee lifecycle as well as the personnel strategy. Key subjects here, for instance, are workforce planning and procurement, employee development and support, and everything surrounding the topic of remuneration and employee health. In addition, the sector contributes to a legally compliant working environment that ensures the long-term success of the company.
TROXellence
The TROXellence area at TROX focuses on the continuous improvement of structures, processes, and procedures within the TROX GROUP. Important topics include the analysis of processes and the collaborative development of solutions in close cooperation with the involved staff, teams, and areas. Thus, the TROXellence area contributes to ensuring that the TROX GROUP stands on a robust and high-performing foundation, thereby promoting the sustainable growth of the company.
TROX X-FANS
TROX X-FANS GmbH is an affiliated company of TROX GmbH. They develop, manufacture and market energy-efficient air handling and smoke extraction fans, as well as heat recovery devices for technical building equipment.
The dynamic and positive development of TROX X-FANS is based on our willingness to venture into new territories and question established practices. Transparency and openness characterise our interactions with each other.
